10 Glowing Photos of Katrina Scott in St. Croix

Fitness instructor and Tone It Up founder Katrina Scott made her debut with SI Swimsuit in Tampa, Fla., in 2021. She returned for her second feature in the issue the following year, but with an added twist. Scott was pregnant when she accompanied Derek Kettela to St. Croix for her second consecutive SI Swim photoshoot, and became the first pregnant model to grace the pages of the issue. 

For the YouTube fitness icon, the moment was really full-circle. “[SI Swimsuit] has been there every step of the way throughout my entire fertility journey, so it is very special that we are here together and shooting for the first time a visibly pregnant... woman for the magazine,” she explained on set in the U.S. Virgin Islands. “I am so honored.”

She was grateful for the “surreal” days on set with the entire SI Swimsuit team, whom she said it was “incredible” to work with. But more than anything, she was grateful for the opportunity to share an unbelievable moment in her pregnancy journey with others, and, hopefully, with her daughters when they’re grown. 

“One day I’m going to tell both my daughters how special today was—to celebrate being a woman and being able to create life,” she said of her desire to share the special memories with her girls in future. “I hope they’re really proud of me.”
